While I already had a relationship with both ladies and had always heard they were great realtors, this was my opportunity to experience it first hand. To me, it was a huge task I was trusting them with - sell my current home and help me find a new one quickly. I had been thinking about putting my house on the market for the last 3 years. Once I mentioned it to Scherrie, she provided the CMA, and the rest was history. We discussed my asking price - we were aligned immediately. A week later, their awesome photographer came out to take pics. After staging it and seeing the pics, I wondered if I really wanted to sell it LOL. Gwen created the listing and it went live Friday at 5pm. Within a few hours, I had two showings for the next morning. I left town and the Dynamic Duo handled the rest. Surprisingly, I had an offer by Sunday morning, we discussed it and I accepted it. Task 1 complete!
While I was very excited, I quickly realized that I was essentially homeless. Worried was an understatement but these ladies remained committed, positive and optimistic. Scherrie reassured me that we were going to find exactly what I wanted and I was going to love it. After our first weekend of multiple showings, I was not convinced. I saw a few places I liked, but not anything I loved. The second outing the following week was much better. I saw one place that I liked enough and one last minute place that we literally stumbled upon. Now this place I absolutely loved! It was not a condo, was bigger than I desired and had stairs, stairs and more stairs! But it was beautiful and had all of the other amenities that I wanted along with several nice to haves. Figuring that it probably wouldn't be accepted, we submitted a bid anyway. I would say it was a miracle, but actually it was Gwen. While it wasn't the highest bid, Gwen worked that miracle and the house was mine!
Long story short, I sold my house at the end of June and was closed and moved into my new house about three weeks later. It was scary, stressful and exciting all at the same time. The Dynamic Duo kept me informed, grounded and encouraged throughout every step of this journey. I could not have asked for better or more capable realtors than this fantastic Mother Daughter Duo. I am beyond satisfied and highly recommend this team!
